About this Photographer

I won’t lie to you, and tell you that being a photographer was a childhood dream, it wasn’t. In fact I didn’t even pick up a camera until I was 19. Even then photography wasn’t some calling like the one ring to Frodo, no, I was travelling and wanted to capture it. But that little point and shoot camera went everywhere with me the second I had it in my hands like it was my precious!

What happened after was a very quick fall down the rabbit hole, and I was shooting in a studio and assisting at my first wedding within a couple of years. Now I couldn’t imagine a different life at all, and working as a creative is the dream job I never knew I wanted.

Since that very first wedding it has been the greatest privelege to capture the most important day of many couples lives, and I don’t take it lightly that this is what I get to do with my days.

Outside of being a photographer I am a through and through nerd. I am a movie lover, and I will happily quote movie and tv shows that I have in common with friends. In high school I was in a jazz band, and played the saxophone (and oboe, and clarinet, and anything else I could get my hands on actually), honestly, nerd through and through.

My partner and I love a good daytrip - or weekend if we can get away with it - whether it’s a day out to see some history at a National Trust property, or a more adventurous weekend flight - my partner is addicted to SkyScanner, I want to say it’s a problem but when she finds £20 flights, who am I to complain! You will often find us planning out next jaunt either very last minute, or months (and months!) in advanve with great excitement.

The next step is to get on a video call and see how we get on, chat about your wedding and see if what I offer is what you want. Although I would refer to myself as an introvert, I do truly love getting to meet new couples and get to know you and build that connection. I promise I’m friendly.
